Chorus of Disapproval – Rehearsals well underway

Rehearsals are now well underway for our next production. Our vocal chords are being tuned up carefully, lines are being learnt and hilarious scenes are being put together and polished. The play is a mixture of rehearsal scenes where we see the Beggar’s Opera “come together” and fantastically crafted comedy scenes showing us the relationships between the cast members of the operatic society. Throughout¬† this, short musical numbers tie the whole thing together and underline themes, moods and comic moments. The play is a simple comedy at heart but the addition of music and pathos at times makes it a special production. This play really does have something for everyone.

Tickets are now on sale for Chorus of Disapproval by Alan Ayckbourn at Theatre on the Steps in Bridgnorth.¬† Not only are we doing our normal evening performance on 2nd, 3rd and 4th June 2016 we are also putting on a special matinee on Saturday 4th June at 2:30pm. So if you don’t like tackling the steps in the dark, or if you want to enjoy a play in the afternoon and then go out for a meal with friends in the evening then this is the performance for you!
