Albrighton Players is an amateur group producing a wide
range of plays three times a year. We meet on Mondays and
Thursdays at Albrighton County Junior School, Newhouse Lane,
Albrighton from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Please contact us if you are

The Group has grown and diminished in size over the years
but continues to flourish. The Group currently has a membership
of 40, which takes into account not only the actors, but also
the Front of House, Back Stage and Stage and Lighting Crew.
Our choice of productions is varied and ranges from
“The Killing of Sister George” by Frank Marcus to “A Chorus of
Disapproval” by Alan Ayckbourn. Long may it continue to offer
entertainment for the village of Albrighton.
We are fortunate in that we receive funding from both Bridgnorth
District Arts supported by the Bridgnorth District Council and
Building Design in Wolverhampton. We are indebted to them for
their support as it gives us the opportunity to put on a wide
variety of plays.
